Russ Powell Will Miss 10-11 Months Thursday, August 24th, 2023 Disappointing news today for Rochester Squids fans. Russ Powell was hurt throwing a pitch in their game against the Toledo Black Birds and has a torn labrum. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return but said it was likely the injury will keep the starting pitcher out at least 10-11 months. So far in 37 appearances this season, Powell has recorded 4 wins and sustained 4 losses. He has pitched 95.1 innings, yielded 108 hits, fanned 80 and has a 4.81 ERA. |
