Walton Fashions No-Hitter Against Bengals Friday, August 25th, 2023 Louisville is abuzz in the wake of a masterful no-hitter by Pat Walton against the Scranton WB Bengals. In a dominating 11-0 performance at Icecaps Ballpark, the 28-year-old hurler had 10 strikeouts and 2 walks. Not one batter managed a hit. The Scranton WB manager said after the game, "You could tell early on it was going to be a long day for us. He made us look real bad. He was that good. And still going strong at the end of the game." "Yeah, this was a special day for me," said Walton. "I had my good stuff and good movement... good location, too. Even when I was off and made a mistake, I got away with it today." Season-to-date Walton has rung up 9 wins and 12 losses in 24 appearances. He has an ERA of 5.28 and has fanned 92 batters in 117.2 innings. |
