Albuquerque's Jones to Miss 5 Months Friday, August 18th, 2023 Tom Jones of the Albuquerque Monsoons was injured in today's game against Iowa and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is shoulder inflammation and he is expected to be out for up to 5 months. It happened while Jones was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." In 25 starts this season Jones has notched a 11-6 record and a 3.67 ERA. |
