Bad News for Shockers, Donovan Injured Sunday, August 27th, 2023 The Tucson Shockers will have to make do without Ken Donovan for 9 months. He suffered a stretched elbow ligament while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Las Vegas Octopuses. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the reliever. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." This season Donovan has claimed 14 saves and registered a 7-4 record with a 3.52 ERA. He has 50 relief appearances spanning 53.2 innings and has struck out 37. |
