Razorbacks Dump Bob Rhodes as Manager Tuesday, September 19th, 2023 Bob Rhodes has managed his last game with the Memphis Razorbacks. Rhodes met with team officials yesterday and his termination was officially announced today in a prepared statement from the club's general manager. "Bob Rhodes has done an admirable job here, but I think it's time to go in another direction," the statement read. "At the end of the day, we just aren't getting the results we want with Bob and at this point we're willing to try to turn things around with a new manager." A replacement has yet to be named, but a decision is expected to come forward shortly. The team's owner told BNN that the team had only been contemplating a managerial shift in the past week. Rhodes left the clubhouse quietly upon learning the news and refused to comment when pressed by reporters. |
