Irish Left Fielder Ward Hurt Wednesday, September 20th, 2023 After injuring himself, Irish left fielder Forrest Ward headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after making a defensive play and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Ward will miss at least 2-3 months with a sprained ankle. Currently Ward is batting .273 with 137 hits and 19 home runs. He has knocked in 84 runs and scored 67 times. |
