Cubans González and Rockers Martin Suspended for Fight Tuesday, September 26th, 2023 There was a heated confrontation yesterday at Estadio de Cubanos between the Cubans and Rockers that resulted in ejections and suspensions. César González of Havana and Bob Martin of Cleveland were issued 9-game suspensions by the league office for initiating the on-field disturbance. This season González has hit at a .304 clip and produced 74 runs batted in, 19 home runs and 54 runs. This year Martin has posted a 8-10 mark in 30 starts and has a 4.89 ERA. |
