Jones Picked AL's Top Newcomer Sunday, October 1st, 2023 Rick Jones earned the American League Rookie of the Month honors for his fine stretch of play in September. The 27-year-old Minneapolis right fielder batted .350, smacked 6 home runs and drove in 25 runs. He also tagged 28 hits, scored 13 runs and picked up 5 walks on his way to a .388 on-base percentage. This year Jones has batted at a .312 pace with 120 hits, 20 home runs, 76 RBIs and scored 60 times. |
