Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the National League MVP Award. Sosa hit for a .351 average while collecting 200 hits, 22 doubles, 8 triples, 32 home runs, 115 RBIs and scoring 104 times.Neil Abrams of the Havana Cubans finished second in voting, while Paul Andrews of the Miami Banditos finished third. |
