Trouble in Boston, Dunbar Suffers Setback Thursday, November 23rd, 2023 Yesterday Boston first baseman Jeff Dunbar sustained a setback in his recovery from a stiff back. The Irish medical staff told him it would be at least 5 days before he will be able to return to action. Dunbar told reporters, "The healing process has gone extremely well. This is just a little hiccup and a little setback." Apparently Dunbar worked a little too hard in a recent workout and caused more damage. His doctors have advised him to do only light exercise and give the injury time to heal. Lifetime in 2442 games Dunbar is batting .294 with 406 home runs and 1544 RBIs. |
