Cleveland-Dallas Announce Deal Saturday, December 16th, 2023 BNN has learned the Cleveland Rockers have reportedly worked out a deal with the Dallas Brahmas. Sources close to the Rockers indicated that a trade has been reached in principle where 21-year-old minor league RHP Mario Portillo and 22-year-old minor league 3B Roberto Romero will be swapped to Cleveland with 27-year-old LHP Chuck Lilly heading to Dallas. Neither organization would comment on the report, saying it was club policy not to speak about a trade until it was finalized. In his career Lilly has fashioned a 9-12 mark, 4.62 ERA and thrown 206.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .279 lifetime against him and he has logged 110 career strikeouts. |
