St. Louis, Las Vegas Trade Players Monday, December 18th, 2023 The St. Louis Savages and Las Vegas Renegades have put the finishing touches on a deal that was weeks in the making. St. Louis will part with 28-year-old RHP Bennett Williams, while the Renegades have dealt 19-year-old minor league RHP Pedro Manuel. "This one took a while to figure out," said the St. Louis general manager. "We must have gone back to the drawing board five or six times over the past few weeks. I'm glad we finally got the deal done. I think it is a good one for both clubs." Since breaking in, Williams has posted a 5-1 record with 2 saves in 39 appearances. The 28-year-old has rung up 33 strikeouts, has a 6.72 ERA and has allowed teams to hit .316 against him. |
