Black Jacks Swap Ramírez to Aztecas for Clayton Monday, December 18th, 2023 Signed ... sealed ... and delivered. Indianapolis has worked out terms of a deal to send 29-year-old SS Rubén Ramírez and $160,000 in cash to San Antonio for 28-year-old RHP Kurt Clayton and 22-year-old minor league LHP Luis Villarreal. Both teams expect to introduce their new players at press conferences later in the week. Over his career Ramírez is batting .277 with 35 home runs and 242 RBIs. In 590 games he has delivered 522 hits, scored 267 runs, stolen 81 bases and gotten on base at a .338 clip. |
