Bullfighters Whitewashed by Cash Friday, August 18th, 2023 The Bullfighters manager was philosophical after his team was shut out by the Connecticut Sea Skulls 6-0. "It was just one of those games, shake it off and do better next time," he said. Jeffrey Cash blanked them on 3 hits with 2 walks and no strikeouts. "I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs. They were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Cash said. "I set them up pretty good, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one." On the season Cash has compiled a 8-5 mark with a 2.43 ERA in 1 starts. In pitching 66.2 innings he has 47 strikeouts and 24 walks while limiting the opposition to a .221 batting average. |
