Sheehan 5-5 Against Ranchers Sunday, August 20th, 2023 It was high-5 day at Waco Ballpark, at least for Malcolm Sheehan of the Frisco Pines. He got a lot of high-5's for his outstanding hitting against the Waco Ranchers, but he and his teammates couldn't pull out a win. Sheehan smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on a his record-setting day, but Frisco still dropped the game 10-1. His manager said, "Malcolm was hitting everything. It really was a special game for him. Too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion and get the victory." In the other dugout the opposing manager told BNN writers, "Sheehan bushwhacked my boys today. Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but luckily, we won the ballgame." Malcolm Sheehan singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. In 121 games this season Sheehan is batting .265 with 123 hits and 18 home runs. He has scored 71 runs and driven in 60. |
