CAL Star of the Week Honored Monday, August 28th, 2023 The California League has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Miguel Moreno, left fielder of the Bakersfield Atomic Bombs. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .421 pace to win the award. Moreno went 8-19 for the week, totaled 5 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 7 times. Presently Moreno is batting .407 with 22 hits and 6 home runs. He has knocked in 15 runs and scored 10 times. |
