Smashing Success: Henry Wallops 3 HR Saturday, August 19th, 2023 Every now and then, the right things happen at the right time. William Henry discovered that when he smashed three homers at Ballpark of Lake County during today's 8-1 win over the Lake County Sparrowhawks. The Hagerstown second baseman said in the postgame interview, "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them. The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Henry finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats and 5 RBIs. William Henry hit a solo-shot off Randall Berry in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Randall Berry in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Sean Kinney in the 9th. In the current season, Henry has put up a .262 batting average with 53 hits, 10 home runs, 43 runs batted in and scored 20 runs. |
