Dwight Fulton Out for 6-7 Months Thursday, August 24th, 2023 Watching Dwight Fulton getting helped off the field today at Ballpark of Marianna, fans of the Lexington Speed Demons feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the left fielder will miss 6-7 months with a ruptured medial collateral ligament. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Fulton suffered the injury running the bases in the game against the Saber Cats. This season Fulton is batting .277 with 125 hits, 22 home runs, 69 RBIs, .369 OBP and has scored 65 runs. |
