SOU Player of the Week Chosen Monday, August 28th, 2023 Lakewood Golden Grizzlies left fielder Bryce Brown walked away with the South Atlantic League Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Golden Grizzlies fans are really behind me right now," said the 22-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Brown batted .500 (10-20) with 3 home runs and 6 RBIs this week on his way to the award. Looking at his present stats, Brown has compiled a .284 batting average in 123 games with a .353 on-base percentage, while hitting 13 home runs and driving in 50 runs. |
