 | Field Goes 5-5 Monday, August 15th, 2011: The Hudson Valley Dukes upended the Oneonta Warriors at Iron Men Ballpark today in large part to second baseman Dave Field, who had a smashing day with the bat -- he racked up 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and help propel the Dukes to a 7-6 victory. Dave Field singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off John Haley in the 8th and singled in the 9th. For the season, Field is hitting at a .322 clip with 5 home runs, 35 RBIs and has scored 40 runs. He has 73 hits, 25 walks and a .384 on-base percentage. |
