Joey McBride to Miss 5 Months Sunday, August 20th, 2023 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Corvettes when after today's game against the Killers, the club found out they would be without the services of Joey McBride for at least 5 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." McBride was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered a torn rotator cuff. For the year McBride has a 7-11 record with a 4.80 ERA in 22 starts. |
