Anderson on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, August 21st, 2023 Allen Anderson of Fort Lauderdale was a smashing success this week, winning the Player of the Week Award in the Gulf Coast League. He hit everything the pitchers threw at him, hammering them for a .471 batting average, going 8 for 17 with 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and scoring 5 times. This year Anderson is hitting .258 with 5 home runs and 28 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .344 clip and scored 35 runs. |
