PIO Announces Player of the Week Monday, August 21st, 2023 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Felipe Acevedo was rewarded with the Pioneer League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Orem Silverbacks first baseman hit .450 while collecting 9 hits in 20 at-bats, 4 home runs and 9 RBIs. So far this season Acevedo has 9 home runs and a .284 batting average. |
