The 2006 Stroh's ALDS MVP Award goes to.....

CF MIGUEL LOPEZ, MIN.  Round of Applause!

Add this Award to the Star Centerfielder's growing Trophy Case.  Lopez erupted against the Washington Admirals as the Mutiny took down the series 4-1.  Lopez put the following line during the series:  .529/.652/1.412 for a 2.064 OPS.  He had 9 Hits and of those, 3 2B and 4 HR.  He produced 6 RBI, 6 BB, and 7 Runs.  This ranks up there as one of the most dominating series performances in recent memory.  Lopez had a hit in all 5 games and a HR in 3 of the 5 games.  He also won Player of the Game in Games 1 and 4.  Even Admiral GM had nothing but praise, "buy that man a STROH'S" was his response.  Congratulations Miguel and good luck in the upcoming ALCS.
