CL DAVE "GUS" MCGEE, DC.  Round of Applause!

McGee has been an integral part of the Diplomat's success in 2006.  Despite some early playoff blunders, McGee came into the World Series and had an enormous impact.  In the 4 game sweep of Houston, McGee was responsible for 3 Saves.  In Game 1 McGee came into the top of the 9th to hold onto a 1-0 Diplomat lead.  It was in this game that he gave up his only hit of the World Series.  McGee was able to recover and retire the last two batters.  Game 2 was a blow out and McGee got a bit of rest before coming into Game 3 after reliever Richardson gave up a leadoff HR in the 9th to Bootleg Beltran.  McGee came in and got sluggers Bryant, Haskins and Tolbert to go down 1-2-3.  Game 4 McGee was also able to clinch in the 9th with a 1-2-3 inning.  In total his World Series line was 3.0 IP, 1 H, 5 Ks and 3 SVs.  Douse yourself and your teammate's with an ice cold Stroh's tonight Gus!
